The Prompter Room

Thursday, November 12, 2015:

Since I’m in intense caregiver mode just now, I’ll just offer a few quotes today that have some humor but are, nonetheless, profound when one thinks them through.  Perhaps one or more will serve up some inspiration.  Enjoy!

“It takes a heap of sense to write good nonsense.”  (Mark Twain)

“Be obscure clearly.”  (E. B. White)

“There’s no money in poetry, but then there’s no poetry in money either.”  (Robert Graves)

“A poet can survive anything but a misprint.”  (Oscar Wilde)

“I try to leave out the parts people skip.”  (Elmore Leonard)
