For Thursday, November 26, 2015:
“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good.”
Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States, and I want to take the opportunity to express my gratitude for all of you. Whether you are old or new friends, established or emerging writers (or want to be), you are the reason I come here every day.
You are a large part of what is good in the world, and I am thankful for you every day. Because we tend to feel deeply the pain of the world, writers are among those who help build the bridges that overcome evil, and I know that you make an important difference in people’s lives.
Thank you for being here, and thank you for the good, faithful work that you do. Bless you!
