For Tuesday, January 19, 2016:
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”
Today is my birthday, so I am going to play today. I’m going to meet my best friend for lunch this afternoon. She always feeds my soul and my creativity. My inner child rejoices when we’re together, and I come away inspired, encouraged, and overflowing with ideas.
I hope everyone has someone similar in their lives, someone who sees that artist child in their grown-up lives, someone who calls the child out to play, have fun, explore. I hope you can spend time with that person, or those people, today – or as soon as possible.
We all need people like that in our lives. Someone(s) with whom we can be child-like, totally free, without restraint. Someone with whom their presence is the best possible present.
